Can someone explain to me why there is such a big difference between buying a product as a consumer, and buying the same product as a corporate purchase.
Case in point, at work we recently got a quote for a new Polycom speakerphone for $181.00, when the retail cost for the same device on a major distributor is $287.00.
I know a business’ buying power is greater then your average consumer, but does that difference equate to over a 33% difference? If business’ can afford these lower prices, then why don’t they sell them at that rate normally, and maybe then your average joe can afford some of said products.
50x $30.00 is more then 40x $35.00
